Flanders Lace 1st year
A knowledge base in Torchon lace is required. You must be able to read a working diagram fluently.
In the first year you will learn the ground, picots, taking in and out, the pinnetje, the bolletje, etc.
Flanders Lace 2nd year
In the 2nd year of Flanders, we will learn corners, setting up and ending a medallion with closely worked areas and various sorts of snowflakes (large and small).
Flanders Lace 3rd year
(For those who know the techniques taught in the 1st and 2nd years only)
In the 3rd year of Flanders, the following are in the programme. discussion of problems in existing patterns, gimp, with loops, working into the solid area, gimp in the ground, working with a coloured worker.
