More information: You recognise a piece of Valenciennes lace by the beautiful contrast between its graceful floral motifs and its transparent ground.
In this course you will learn the basic techniques of this lace. You will also learn to turn a simple little design into a working diagram and into lace yourself.
To follow this course, you must already be familiar with Torchon bobbin lace and be able to read a working diagram fluently. A basic knowledge of Flanders lace is also an advantage.
Those who have already learned the basic techniques will be able to explore new challenges in this lace. Mme De Bruyne will help with guidance during the practical exercises.
