For small bobbin lace and for needle lace, this is a very nice yarn and it works easily. I use this yarn twice to make Russian.
The 6 wires are easy to separate; use 1 thread for fine work and corresponds to detailed embroidery or for edging color areas, 2 or 3 threads for slightly coarser embroidery or 4, 5 or 6 threads for even coarser embroidery.
