So here comes our new publication …… 2 years later than planned. The original title would actually have been "50 years of the Kantcentrum" because it was scheduled for publication in Summer 2020, when we were to celebrate the fact that the Kantcentrum Lace Centre had been active in Bruges for 50 years. We found the (new) title "tourmaline" in the names of wedding anniversaries: 52 years = tourmaline. Its symbolism really does apply to the current situation.
Tourmaline has a grounding, protective and cleansing effect. It is a very suitable stone to use as protection against all forms of negative energy and radiation. The stone does this in several ways: it acts as a sort of shield, helps to dispose of negative energy, and transforms negative into positive energy
This is just what we need after two years of Covid-19 and now the threat of war. A wonderful book with 8 nice, modern patterns. You will even be able to make Flanders lace in colours.
