Step into the world of Lace8 with us and discover how simple digital design can be!
During this inspiring exploration, we will get to know the Lace8 program.
We will begin with a simple little piece of bobbin lace and will set off together to discover what buttons to use, what practical hints will help you to move on, and how you gradually transform your idea into a pricking ready to roll off the printer.
Then we will go a step further and start the working diagram for our Torchon lace design.
From our own little design or edging, we will experiment and create new forms on paper.
First, we will make the pattern, then we will work out the working diagram for our chosen form - for example a circular edging, a square edging or a full square.
During this exploration, there will, of course, also be space to ask questions and to solve problems together.
A creative workshop full of discoveries, practical tips and room for your own design!
